About FoodFlow

FoodFlow is an all-in-one operating system for restaurants, cafés and bars — the till, the kitchen, the stockroom, the staff rota and the day’s money in one place, on the devices you already own.

The problem we set out to fix

Most restaurants end up running four or five systems that don’t know about each other: a till, a separate kitchen screen, a spreadsheet for stock, a chat group for the rota, and a shoebox for receipts. Every one of them is a place for numbers to disagree, and reconciling them is unpaid work someone does after closing.

The usual alternative is an enterprise suite that assumes a head office, a procurement budget and proprietary terminals in every branch. That is a fine answer for a chain of two hundred. It is a terrible answer for the overwhelming majority of restaurants, which are one owner, one location and a thin margin.

What we built instead

One system that covers the whole operation and runs in a browser, so the hardware cost is whatever tablet or phone is already behind your counter. Everything below is included in the subscription rather than sold as modules:

  • Point of sale for counter and table service
  • Kitchen display system, or printed kitchen tickets
  • QR table ordering — guests order from their own phone, no app
  • Buffet and set-menu service with timed tiers and refills
  • Inventory that deducts as you sell, with low-stock purchase sheets
  • Staff scheduling, attendance, payroll and overtime
  • Customer loyalty, member tiers, and gift cards
  • Daily sales, expense and cash-vs-bank reporting
  • Multi-branch support with per-branch tills and kitchen screens
  • A free public mini-site and reservation page for every restaurant

Built for everywhere, not one market

FoodFlow works anywhere. You pick your currency, timezone, tax rate and receipt format when you create your restaurant, and the whole product follows it — there is no “international” edition that behaves like a translation of somewhere else.

The interface ships in nine languages: English, Thai, Korean, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Chinese in both Simplified and Traditional script. Your menu is separate again — translate it once and every guest reads it in their own language, on the QR menu and on your public page. That matters as much for a neighbourhood café in a mixed city as it does for a restaurant in a tourist district.

What we deliberately don't do

A product is defined as much by its refusals. FoodFlow has no offline mode — it needs a working internet connection, and we say so before you buy rather than during a service. We have no direct delivery-platform integrations; delivery is handled as a priced sales channel, and if we ever integrate it will be through an aggregator so it works across platforms instead of locking you to one. We are not a card processor — FoodFlow records what a guest paid and how; the card terminal stays yours.

We would rather be the right answer for the restaurants we fit than a vague answer for everyone. The FAQ lists the rest of the honest boundaries, and service status is public so you can check our reliability instead of taking our word for it.

How we charge

One subscription per restaurant, priced per branch rather than per feature, per terminal or per member of staff. There is a 15-day free trial with no card required, and pay-as-you-go day passes for businesses that don’t open every day — because charging a seasonal or weekend-only kitchen a full month for eight trading days is just a worse deal wearing a subscription.

Try it with your own menu

The fastest way to judge a restaurant system is to put a real menu in it and ring up a real order. That takes about ten minutes.
